We would like to welcome Diane to our family of dealers here at the Roxy Theatre Antiques. Dealer Number 1 – Diane brings an old school philosophy to our shop. Her new space is a sparkling example of the beauty of American Made glass juxtaposed against today’s galvanized metal trays and tables.
Diane has been in the antique business, in Ellensburg, for a many years. Just over 30 years ago, the Thorpe Fruit Stand owners decided to create a second and third floor as an antique dealer mall. Of course, there were no stairs to the second and third floors. Diane and her friends climbed a ladder to the second floor and selected her space. Dealer Number 1 was born, right there at the Thorpe Fruit Stand.
We are excited to have Diane here and will enjoy introducing cut glass, American made glass, lead glass, Depression Glass, and more to a new customer. Many would say that glass doesn’t sell. Well, there is nothing more beautiful than a shiny cake plate showcasing a bridal shower cake or a large cut glass platter filled with chocolates. When glass is priced right, customers will want to open their pocketbooks.
You can meet Diane Sigler and her lovely daughter, Tracy Rowe, at the upcoming Tri-Cities Spring Antique Show, March 11-12. Save the date.
